EA Sports fans need more.The company reported it'd 230 million players and FIFA Coins viewers around its EA Sports titles in the last calendar year. Viewership is important, since the interest in esports contests is generating more vulnerability for its EA Sports brand.

EA has experienced great success with FIFA Mobile in Asia in which the game has 21 million players. But there is more to come. As a part of this arrangement, EA will launch multiple cellular offerings inside the FIFA franchise, such as a free-to-play PC version. The business believes that these games could hit 80 million players in over 15 countries.

The pending deals to obtain Glu Mobile and Codemasters (LSE:CDM) will help EA in this extensive expansion plan across EA Sports. Glu Mobile will help expand EA Sports franchises on cellular, given the achievement Glu Sports has experienced its Harness Sports Baseball franchise. And EA believes Codemasters, which possesses top racing games such as F1, DiRT, along with Project Cars, will enable EA Sports to innovate and expand its worldwide market for buy FIFA Mobile Coins racing entertainment.
