Description: Democratic Rep. (D-NY) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the target of a new Job Creators Network billboard, which blasts the far-left socialist over Amazons decision to not move it’s new headquarters to New York City. “Today, the Job Creators Network is putting up a billboard in Times Square calling out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the role she played in the recent termination of Amazon’s HQ2 that was planned to be constructed in Queens,” the Organization said in a press release. “The pullout of Amazon — because of anti-business politicians, notably Ocasio-Cortez — is a major blow to the New York economy. The retreat will not only cost the area $12 billion in economic activity, but 25,000 new jobs that would have paid an average salary of $150,000.”

Indeed, Ocasio-Cortez cheered Amazon’s decision to pull out of a deal to move its headquarters to New York City. The move would have brought a promised 25,000 high-paying jobs for her constituents and billions in tax revenue over the next decade. “Anything is possible,” she tweeted.“Today was a day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world.” Even left-wing NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio blasted Ocasio-Cortez. “The Amazon pullout is a perfect example of what we’ve been saying: socialism takes and capitalism creates,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “The economic consequences of Amazon’s pullout is just a small taste of the harm that is to come if Ocasio-Cortez’s anti-business canon comes to fruition and is made federal policy.” “The billboard—which is located on 42nd Street near 8th Avenue—will be displayed for one week beginning today and is headlined ‘AMAZON PULLOUT, Thanks For Nothing AOC,'” JCN said. “The ad goes on to highlight the economic consequences of Ocasio-Cortez’s actions and ends with the hashtag, #SocialismTakesCapitalismCreates.” Visit ThanksAOC.com to learn more, the JCN press release says.

Description: The Job Creators Network took another blistering shot at Democratic Rep. (D-NY) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with two more billboards in the heart of Times Square, tearing into her “disastrous idea” the Green New Deal.

“The first billboard reads, ‘Hey AOC, the Green New Deal Stinks.’ The second billboard is just below the first and mocks Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that ‘farting cows’ are a major problem contributing to global warming as mentioned in part of her ‘Green New Deal,'” the Job Creators Network said in a press statement. “It also points out that the proposal is estimated to cost anywhere from $51 to $93 trillion dollars. Viewers are directed to the website TheGreenRawDeal.com to learn more information.” “If this Green Raw Deal is enacted, you can kiss the American dream goodbye. It will require a nauseating amount of money to meet the promises and the massive welfare increases called for by this so-called deal,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “Small business owners are successful in America due to our country’s commitment to free-market policies. The socialist policies in Ocasio-Cortez’s plan have no place in America.” It’s just the latest in a series of billboards the pro-small business organization has erected over the last month in downtown New York City.

Last week, The Job Creators Network blasted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after she called the group’s first billboard “wack.“. "Hey AOC, Saw your wack tweet,” the 7th Avenue billboard said.

Job Creators Network Launches ‘Socialism Takes, Capitalism Creates’ Campaign

Description: The Job Creators Network, one of the country’s largest pro-jobs grassroots organizations, has kicked off a new campaign to push the message that “socialism takes, and capitalism creates.” “This past week, we kicked the socialists right in the facts – and we’ve never been more proud. And thanks to the overwhelming encouragement from our supporters, we’re moving to snowball these efforts — taking our message nationwide that socialism takes, and capitalism creates,” the Job Creators Network said in a press release. “That’s why we’ve started a GoFundMe – to kick up more dirt and really take the fight all across the country. We must publicly call out and shame these anti-job socialists for their malicious assault on capitalism and the American people,” the group said. “History tells the facts: Socialism ALWAYS fails. We can’t risk becoming the next victim” Last month Job Creators Network revamped its Tax Cuts Work campaign and launched a new digital calculator, allowing Americans to calculate the money they’ve saved over the year due in part to the Trump administration’s tax cuts and economic agenda. A few weeks later the group dropped a billboard in the middle of Time Square, which took direct aim at Democratic Rep. (D-NY) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her support for Amazon’s decision to not move it’s new headquarters to New York City. “The Amazon pullout is a perfect example of what we’ve been saying: socialism takes and capitalism creates,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “The economic consequences of Amazon’s pullout is just a small taste of the harm that is to come if Ocasio-Cortez’s anti-business canon comes to fruition and is made federal policy.” The group later erected two more billboards slamming Ocasio-Cortez’s “disastrous,” $93 trillion Green New Deal.

Amazon Pulls Out of NYC: Thanks for Nothing AOC

Description: Amazon—one of the country’s leading tech and logistics businesses—has been planning to make a multi-billion investment in New York by constructing HQ2, a regional headquarters for the company that was set to be split between Queens and Northern Virginia. But those plans came to a screeching halt once opposition from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, along with other anti-business politicians, ramped up. The termination of the venture marks a significant blow to the New York economy. Not only will New Yorkers lose out on 25,000 new jobs and $4 billion in wages, but also $12 billion in economic activity for the region. This is money that would have been flowing through the hands of consumers and businesses in the area—strengthening local communities and expanding commerce. Amazon’s pullout is just one example of what can happen because of a socialist, anti-business agenda. Imagine the consequences if it is repeated on a larger scale. #SocialismTakesCapitalismCreates

Description: (Reuters) - A pro-business group unveiled two billboards targeting Democratic congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York City on Tuesday, criticizing her proposal for a “Green New Deal” aimed at building a renewable energy economy. The digital billboards on the side of a skyscraper in Manhattan’s Times Square are the latest broadside against the 29-year-old liberal known as “AOC,” by the Job Creators Network, founded by billionaire Bernard Marcus, a former chief executive of Home Depot Inc. Representative Ocasio-Cortez, whose district includes parts of the New York City boroughs of the Bronx and Queens, has sought to push her party to the left on environmental and economic issues. She was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in November in an upset victory over a more mainstream Democratic incumbent. Ocasio-Cortez had opposed Amazon.com Inc’s plan to create a major New York outpost with nearly $3 billion in city and state incentives. When the company last month scrapped plans to build in New York, she called it a big victory for progressive politicians. Last month, she teamed up with U.S. Senator Edward Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat, to lay out a plan to eliminate U.S. greenhouse gas emissions within a decade with government-led investments in clean energy and infrastructure. “Hey AOC, you’re the ‘boss’?” read one billboard. “WE DON’T THINK SO. The American PEOPLE are the boss,” said the other sign, with a link to a website critical of the “Green New Deal.”

In the last two weeks, the Job Creators Network has erected seven billboards in Times Square aimed at Ocasio-Cortez and her policies, a spokeswoman for the group, Elaine Parker, said in an email. The group has called the “Green New Deal” an unrealistic and potentially ruinous plan for the U.S. economy that would require massive government spending. A representative for Ocasio-Cortez did not return emails seeking comment on the billboards. Last month, Ocasio-Cortez said in a message on Twitter that the billboard campaign demonstrated that her fight against “dark money & anti-worker policies” was gaining traction.
